Lunch at 12 - Breakfast

🍳 This breakfast was from Lunch at Twelve on Broad Street. They have no Instagram presence which is a shame (I’m a huge Instagram fan and run The Little Cardiff Blog!). They use Facebook and you can see the food looks lovely from their posts! Anyway, the reviews on Just Eat were so good (unusual as that website can be full of a bunch of moaners!) I just had to try it. Though I lived in walking distance it was raining so I opted to pay £3 delivery.

I ordered the full welsh breakfast and was curious as to how it would travel. I was really pleased with the quality and quantity, I was so full after eating this as well as some delicious waffles with maple syrup 🙈🙈🙈

I enjoyed the taste of every component of the breakfast and that is high praise; I am fussy about sausages and often not a fan of the ones you get at a full breakfast. But these were good. That fried bread was amazing!! Have it so rarely and it always feels a bit naughty cos I mean, it is a treat isn’t it, just fried carbs - anyway it really hit the spot. Lush mushrooms and black pudding. I would have liked beans in a separate pot ideally, but it was fine like this once all scooped out. And I like my bacon crispier, but I took off the fatty bits and it was really tasty and thick bacon. Their menu is pretty eclectic so will try more!! Great spot and hope to go in and eat there too when we can!⠀
